Reaching Qatari youth through football

 

Shell and the Qatar Football Association wanted a way to reach the youth of Qatar and to encourage them to get active through football, in the fight against obesity.

SDI developed and delivered an 18 week after-school program, working with the FC Barcelona Foundation, which provided an additional four hours of extracurricular physical activity per week for a youth audience.

Running over an eight-year period the ‘Koora Time’ campaign has positively impacted the BMI of more than 100,000 youths in attendance, winning 12 local and international Corporate Social Responsibility awards in the process.
